The group elects a committee at the Annual General Meeting each year. There are 8 places on the committee (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and five Committee Members). The committee chooses a Vice Chair from within its ranks.
All committee members are volunteers, but training and expenses are available to attend meetings and carry out the group's work.
Julian Hiles - Chair
Julian is 36 years old and recently became a granddad for the first time. He has lived in Matson for just over 3 years and has been Chair of the group since March 2008.
Julian has a wide range of experience volunteering with community groups and good working relationships with local service providers.
There are currently 7 other committee members. These committee members work hard on behalf of residents but have asked for their details not to be published.
